Matthias Schuster is as an analog architect and became a synonymous with the avant-garde ethos under the name IM NAMEN DES VOLKES. His mastery of vintage synthesizers, drum machines, and modular synthesizer systems defined the group's industrial tapestry, captivating audiences with the warmth and authenticity that analog instrumentation brings.

Matthias Schuster, the versatile musician affiliated with notable projects such as Geisterfahrer, Im Namen des Volkes, Bal Pare, and Das Institut, has substantively contributed to the music landscape since the early 1980s. His extensive studio production portfolio spans approximately 150 bands, encompassing a diverse array of artists, including luminaries such as Andreas Dorau ("Fred vom Jupiter"), Kosmonautentraum, Abwärts, Brosch, Saal II, and The Red Crayola.

Noteworthy among Schuster's achievements is his prolific involvement in crafting soundtracks for various films, with a particular mention of his work on the movie "FRAKTUS."
