Skare - Polar Night Pilgrimage CS (CRUS-125)

$12.00

It took 15 years for the follow up to Skare's debut album ‘Solstice City’ to see the light of day.
The Polar Night Pilgrimage is a four track conceptual album that starts off where ‘Solstice City’ ended.
The four new tracks again bring the listener on a journey in the foot steps of the wanderer.
Finding his way through the frozen landscapes after leaving the factory behind, the traveler again set sails for the horizon.
He navigates towards his home island to bid farewell to family, friends and foe. We hear his dreamscapes pass by when he
slowly floats towards his last contact with humanity.
The farewell celebration echoes in the distance when he heads to his secluded destination in the whiteness. Making his
way to his final sanctum on the Blue Ice Island he’s finally calm. With distant bells made of frosted angels ringing in his ears.

“The circulation of water, snow and ice. The metamorphosis from gas to floating liquid to snow to solid ice through freezing,
the light reflecting from the snow and filtered through the ice as a prism and the sounds of this ever ongoing circle...”
