Three Tracks of Submerged Cybernetics
'Lower the body at the instant it shudders. The face moves one last time below the grate to bathe itself in light and moisture. The directive is to excavate to make room for something else but what if it wakes up it will not wake up but it will have more room to crouch so be it. At the very instant itself of shuddering.
There are flashes of things dead or frozen in the shape laughter takes when there is nothing there. What is within that very instant when the eyes avert cannot be seen but is known by some.
The hand is slipping. Something is moving what do you see it does not have a heartbeat but it is breathing. The other hand directs the movement of radiance across walls nothing has slid down for years.
The cable is splintering. The joy is so violent the walls will burst like the veins of an old crone which have throbbed for so long until one day they dry out and shudder and the metal ricochets to create the hysterics of having seen what is down there.'
